For starters, to clear the air, this process was very annoying and long. Even now, after multiple times of asking AI to generate a one minute video, it’s only generating a 46 second video. Personally, I can not stand using AI for anything besides sparking an idea or helping with a thought I may have, so I figured I wouldn’t enjoy this experience anyway. My reaction to this process was just as I thought it would be, unimpressed. It’s cool that you can tell AI to create something and it’ll generate, however it couldn’t follow a simple task of making the video a minute long.
I would say there are more negatives than positives just due to the fact that I already have a biased opinion on it. After telling it a prompt, it took quite a while for a video to generate. So, it didn’t work in a timely manner, the first video was only 30 seconds, and now it got the video to 46 seconds which is still not what i asked for. The only positive was I didn’t have to create my own video this week and deal with editing. I learned that I will never do this again unless I absolutely have to or if it’s for an assignment.
